I stopped into this local spot for lunch. The waitress assured me it was NOT too early for catfish and turnip greens. Man, that food was so good, and the service was excellent. Even the other patrons were super pleasant. I will be on this account for a little while, and this definitely won't be my last time visiting this establishment! Day 2: The Food was so good that I had to do a repeat. It was just as good the second day!!

We loved the West Street Diner! We both had the chicken and dumplings. I had green beans and spiced apples. My husband had pinto beans and greens. The food was excellent.

We will definatley be back next time we are in Memphis. The service was just like home. The food was absolutely fantastic. We had biscuits and gravy and grits both of which were out of this world. Thank you

Great food and speedy service. It was a really small Establishment. The seating was comfortable though. It reminded me very much of a rail car diner. The food was well seasoned and arrived warm and very basic no frills plating. I ordered steak and eggs with cheese grits. The grits were nice and creamy. The eggs were moist and well scrambled and the steak a perfect medium. I'd definitely eat here again.

Great little place. Was able to get our family of 5 seated with the kid in the aisle. Food was great. Best patty melt I've had in a long time. We all cleaned out plates.

This is my little spot for a good patty melt or just great freshly cooked food. I love coming here, it is a great diner experience. I have always had a friendly waitress and she always gives me thousand island to go with my patty melt which i have grown quite fond of! This is a place for me to bring my kids on a little lunch date. Only thing I would change is maybe add seasoning to the fries. other than that I loveeee this place. Can't wait to try other delicious meals on their menu!
